Why does secureaplus turns off windows defender in win 10?
« on: October 04, 2015, 12:33:03 AM »
Even without offline av, during install secureaplus disables windows defender atleast in win10? Shouldn't secureaplus be compatible with all avs and antimalwares?

In Windows 10, by default Windows Defender will automatically turn off by itself if it detected there is another AV installed.

@hendy can you turn the offline AV and universal AV back on after re-enabling Windows Defender?

Yes, you can enable them back.
Since you have already had Windows Defender as the offline AV, for better performance, it would be better if you only enable Universal AV rather than enabling both.
