Facebook Messenger opens and then closes with secureaplus installed

I recently started having an issue on my main workstation where facebook messenger will open and then just instantly close. I was able to reproduce it on another machine. I tried a bunch of things to fix it on the other machine. It wasn't until I uninstalled secureaplus that Facebook Messenger started working. I've tried whitelisting the exe and it still happens. After a reinstall of secureaplus it worked again but now a few days later it's happening again.
