SecureAPlus APEX 5.03 Universal AV periodic scanning

The universal AV start scanning every time my computer get reboot or resume from sleep.  It would last for 15 minutes each time slowing down my laptop.  I thought the universal AV is supposed to work in realtime only scanning new / modify files and not in periodic mode.

The periodic scanning is optional. You can turn it off, by turn off the Universal AV regular scanning (App Settings->Universal AV->Scan Settings)

Hi Henry,

I had turn off that setting and it seem to disable the universal AV completely.  Attach is the screenshot.
