Universal AV status bug?
« on: July 25, 2017, 06:27:33 AM »
I can see 4 infected files in UAV status, but when i clicked view threats detected, it always showed no threats detected.

if i verified the logs , i can see the list of files flagged as potentially false positives. kindly fix this as GUI to quarantine or ignore false positives is so much easier.

Yes, there is a bug at UAV status. In SecureAPlus v4.6.2, we try to reduce the false positive by not showing files which are most likely to be false positive. Those files should not be counted as threats.

If you want, you can download and install the following quick fix:
https://secureaplus.secureage.com/betadownload/FixedUAV_v4.6.2.1.exe

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Thanks Hendy,

it is a good idea not to show it as threats, but i guess the "view threats detected" are really misleading for end users.

it may be worthwhile to mark the false positives under a different category to reduce panic..

update: awesome, your patch exactly did what i just mentioned! it showed the threats as ignored. good one.
