Hi,

Index service not ready yet means that it is not ready to respond to any file searching request yet.
If the computer just restarted, depending on the machine specifications, and how many new files that it needs to index, sometimes it may take around 30 minutes to do the indexing.

Sometimes this may also be caused by file system issue, or the file index database itself corrupted.
If this happened, you may see the file index service not ready persistently, even if you have waited for long enough (e.g. more than 45 minutes).
To fix this, you can try to download and run this utility:
https://secureaplus.secureage.com/download/RefreshFileIndex.exe

What it does:
1.       Run chkdsk /f after the computer rebooted. This is to check and fix the file system issue.
2.       Force the file index to refresh its internal database

Best regards,
