Hello to all Polish users,

This will be the platform for all of you to discuss about the translation - the grammatical error, spelling error, the way it's phrase etc :)

Update (as of 8 Apr): Translation for Virus Scanner is still WIP ;) Kindly withhold your comments for Virus Scanner.

First of all, thanks for the translator for his work. The translation is not bad, but it needs some corrections.

1. We don't use such capitalization in Polish:
For example "Ustaw Plik jako Zaufany Instalator" is just "Ustaw plik jako zaufany instalator"
This is the biggest problem of this translation, it makes it look as if it was done by a kid.

2. Support should be translated as "Pomoc techniczna", not "Wsparcie".
"Odwiedź Stronę Wsparcia" = "Odwiedź stronę pomocy technicznej"

3. "Ponownie skanowanie..." should be "Powtarzanie skanowania..."

4. "Współczynnik wykrywalności" should be "Wykrywalność".

5. "Kod statusu" should be "Kod stanu".

6. For consistency, "Zeskanowanych Plików" should be "Zeskanowane pliki". If you prefer the first form, then please change "Wykryte Zagrożenia" to "Wykrytych zagrożeń".

7. "Wykryte Zagrożenie" should be "Wykryto zagrożenie".

8. "Brak silników Antywirusowych dla skanowania" should be "Brak silników antywirusowych do skanowania".

9. "%1 zagrożeń zostało wykrytych." should be "Wykryto %1 zagrożeń" and "1 zagrożenie zostało wykryte." should be "Wykryto 1 zagrożenie".

10. "Uniwersalny AV skanowanie..." should be "Skanowanie przy użyciu Universal AV..." (Does anyone know how to translate Universal AV well?).

11. A better translation of "Serwer jest nieosiągalny" could be "Serwer jest niedostępny".

12. A better translation of "hash" could be "suma kontrolna".
For example "Obliczanie skrótów..." can be replaced with "Obliczanie sumy kontrolnej...".

13. Please try using genderless forms wherever it's possible.
For example "Jesteś chroniony przed nowym zagrożeniami" can be changed to "Komputer jest chroniony przed nowymi zagrożeniami" or "Ochrona przed nowymi zagrożeniami jest aktywna".

14. "Kliknij tutaj po więcej informacji" should be "Kliknij tutaj, aby uzyskać więcej informacji"

15. "Pokaż Szczegóły" should be "Pokaż dodatkowe informacje".

16. "Uniwersalny AV Skanowanie" - this string looks like Google Translate.

17. "Twój komputer jest wolny od malware!" should be "Twój komputer jest wolny od szkodliwego oprogramowania!"

18. "Please" is usually omitted in Polish translations.

19. "Powiadom mnie o nowej aktualizacji" should be "Powiadamiaj mnie o nowych aktualizacjach".

20. "Niezainstalowano" should be "Nie zainstalowano".

Mateusz Kurlit:
1. There is capitalization in original strings. There is a reason for capitalization "Set File as Trusted Installer". It is more readable. Many developers use this. I will leave it as it is in every string containing capitalization.
2. Support = Wsparcie Help = Pomoc
3. Good idea. I have changed it.
4. It is same thing.
5. Status = Status  State = Stan
6. Changed to "Zeskanowane pliki"
7. There is a number of detected threats so it's not warning, just information.
8. Changed
9. Wykryto 1 zagrożenie? Wykryto 2 zagrożenia? Wykryto 5 zagrożeń? There should be 3 versions of that strings, but we have only 2. So I will leave it as it is.
10. Changed to "Skanowanie za pomocą Uniwersalnego AV. Uniwersalny AV = Uniwersalny AntyWirus or Uniwersalny Antywirus, but it is too long.
11. Serwer is not available = Serwer jest niedostępny.
12. Good idea.
13. Will try.
14. Changed.
15. It is same thing
16. It is not google translate. I will change it to "Uniwersalny AV - Skanowanie"
17. Jeśli już to malware = złośliwe oprogramowanie.

1. The problem is that it's considered totally wrong in Polish. No company uses that. It's called title case and we don't have such a thing in Polish. Almost no language uses it except English, Turkish, Malay, Indonesian and Portuguese.
2. Don't you think "Wsparcie techniczne" sounds funny? Also, "Pomoc techniczna" is a commonly accepted translation of support, even Microsoft uses it.
4. I think "Wykrywalność" sounds better.
5. I think "stan" sounds better and there's no real meaning difference.
17. "złośliwe oprogramowanie" is another weird term. Can software be "złośliwe"? It just doesn't sound right.

Dostępna aktualizacja dla SecureAPlus. - Dostępna jest aktualizacja dla SecureAPlus.

Automatyczna aktualizacji bazy danych definicji wirusów. - Automatyczna aktualizacja bazy definicji wirusów ("dane" proponuję pominąć)

Automatyczne sprawdzanie nowej wersji oprogramowania - Automatyczne sprawdzanie nowych wersji oprogramowania

Sprawdzanie dostępności nowej aktualizacji - Sprawdzanie dostępności nowych aktualizacji.

Przygotowywanie oznaczania dostępnych plików... - Przygotowywanie do oznaczenia dostępnych plików...

Wieczna. - Dożywotnia / Bezterminowa.

Brakuje "%1". - "%1" nie istnieje

"Rozpocznij oczekiwanie" - tu na pewno o to chodziło?
