Win7 v3.3.7 File index
« on: July 28, 2015, 12:29:17 AM »
Hi, I'm running windows 7 all updated. I get this message "File index service is not ready yet. Please wait. .. That status never changes. Click complete scan nothing happens, if I click retrieve last scan it changes to "your computer is free from malware!" Click scan nothing happens.

Does this happen when the Windows just start up?
After start up, usually it may take a few minutes until the file index service is ready.

To help us to understand more about the issue, please kindly send us the log files.
You can compress the following folder, and send the compressed folder to secureaplus@secureage.com:
C:\ProgramData\SecureAge Technology\SecureAge\log

Thanks and regards,
Hendy Chandra

The "File index service is not ready yet. Please wait..." status never goes away, Start up, 2 hours later same status.
I updated to v3.4.0 still have the same issue. I'm emailing the log files you asked for.

Having this issue as well, log sent. I'm on Windows10 pro with the latest Windows major update installed.

UPDATE: It started doing this again, and not stopping. I ran chkdsk and fixed some errors on C, but it seems to just index my D (2.3tb's of movies) for days on end. Finally just uninstalled and am running AVG again unfortunately until I can assess what is happening here.
